But except some second hand staff nothing is cheaper then X-Touch Mini. Any MIDI device can do what you want, f.e. some 25 keys MIDI controller. Also any (Windows compatible) gamepads can do that. PS. I have not ported my "Not A Mouse/Keyboard" from REAPER, that (any mouse/keyboard) are truly cheapest transport controllers (some are wireless, without BT/Net) ?
