Sander Verstraten Posted August 30, 2019 Posted August 30, 2019 Hi, I'm looking for a DAW that can be run online/in a browser. Mainly to put in some quick ideas. I have a corporate Laptop, on which for obvious reasons, I am not allowed to install my own programs. But anything running in Chrome or Edge would be fine. Is Bandlab the best around, or are there other alternatives?
InstrEd Posted August 30, 2019 Posted August 30, 2019 (edited) I have never done it but Reaper can run off a portable drive: https://www.soundonsound.com/techniques/reaper-go It could be an option for you. Maybe go to the Reaper forum and ask there. The article I posted is several years old before WASPI drivers for windows10 came out. I think you could use those now with reaper and the internal laptop sound-card for your work. It is not a browser solution but a full featured DAW that might fit your needs.
