Do you mean the target track after the bounce? Sort of like a save as and then name the new bounced track?

Seems to me that whether you name the track before or after the bounce, you're still naming the track. Double-click the given name, then type a new one. Pretty quick--unless I missed something.

Track> Bounce to track> popup window.

There's already a popup window with options, why not take care of business in that window? It would be consistent with the other "+" create track and Create Instrument popup window that allows setting buses etc.

Doesn't it currently retain the name of the source track and places a ( bounced ) tag on the track name ?  That's how it appears to work when I'm bouncing tracks.  But maybe the op has a different scenario at play. I can see it causing confusion if it's renamed with no reference to orignal track name - personally.
