Audio won't play

I am just starting to use this Daw and I have no experience with Daws. I am completely new and lost. I figured out how to import a youtube beat that i turned into an mp3 onto the application and so that's what I did. It showed up and i pressed play and the was no sound. Im very confused please help.

If the play head was moving (and meters moving) but no sound was coming out then it sounds like a soundcard selection issue which is easy to remedy.  As Steve mentioned, the online help/guide is helpful.
