I never had a HW Finalizer but this pack appears to have a lot more than I remember from the articles I read back then. The ad says that it's been ported from their System 6000 high end audio processor. Anyone knows the deadline for the $99 price? Edited August 20, 2019 by Sergio

I found this on https://rekkerd.org/tc-electronic-to-change-the-game-of-mastering-with-new-finalizer-app/ "The free mastering analysis tools are now available at finalizer.com, and the Finalizer software app is available now at an early bird introductory price of $99 USD until September 20th, 2019 (regular $199 USD)." Reid Rosefelt Posted August 21, 2019 Posted August 21, 2019 Note that this is a standalone and not a plugin.
Hidden Symmetry Posted August 21, 2019 Posted August 21, 2019 (edited) I tried the demo for a few hours yesterday. I liked it in general, only wish it had a few more features. The sample rate is limited, you can't create fades which I usually prefer doing during mastering. You can only do one track at at time so for cd you'd still need other mastering software. It would be nice to add 3rd party plugins but I do understand why they don't offer it. It sounded very good, nice features & very stable, never crashed. It uses a lot of cpu when calculating though. $99.00 is a fair price, just wish it was more of an all in one mastering solution. (I couldn't get the online analyzer to work, always got an error message when uploading tracks.) Edited August 21, 2019 by Hidden Symmetry
Tony Carpenter Posted August 22, 2019 Posted August 22, 2019 The analyser keeps disconnecting... for me, and I have a very good isp speed and latency. Teething issues, or overwhelmed, you decide LOL. Great piece of kit the app is based on for sure. I used to have the DBX Quantum, twice.. that was good too.
artturner Posted August 23, 2019 Posted August 23, 2019 Downloaded the demo. I really like this. It also reveals in startling clarity that I have no idea what I'm doing.
Pierre-Luc Demers Posted October 22, 2019 Posted October 22, 2019 Well, I installed it but never been able to use it, since it crashes right on start... I had mails with their support (which is completely bad and not competent at all) and I saw lot of buyers had the same issue. Looks like TC doesn't know at all how to fix it.
Tony Carpenter Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 (edited) Sorry to necro this thread guys and gals, but I just recently discovered the website for Finalizer is gone too. And, my installation of the app on my now Monterey OSX Macbook Pro no longer works... TC Electronics may have stealth killed this off... Edited October 5, 2022 by Tony Carpenter 1

So the question is now, why is it suddenly not working... And that site doesn't appear to do what the old one did for live comparison?. Hmmm. 1
Pollux Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 They are still selling it for $199, so I think the easiest would be to contact their support 1
