Ryan Keller
Hey guys, Been a while since I played around with music. I bought this cheap little midi controller and haven't got a sustain pedal for it yet. How do I set up one of it's buttons as a sustain, if that's possible? TIA. User 905133
Does the keyboard have a manual? If so, there's where I'd start. Edited July 13, 2023 by User 905133 edits

Sheens
maybe one of these would work..

This one can help if your monitor is broken but you still want control Cakewalk (not a joke: https://www.azslow.com/index.php/topic,342.0.html ) But if someone has a MIDI controller, there are simpler ways to assign something on it to sustain CC (if controller can't do it by itself, there are MIDI mapping plug-ins) ?
Byron Dickens
Why not just get a proper sustain pedal and make it easy?
