Can't delete multiple Sysex events...

I need to delete 250 of the wretched things.  Searched the forum and the 'Filter' method doesn't work.  Nor does the Event route work - they don't show in there ?!?!

Any ideas?

If it works like the Event list, then I've never found a way to select all events. I just use the View to show the events I don't want and hold the delete key down. It will gobble them up pretty quickly. 

If you don't use hardware these messages don't seem to have anything to do with soft synths. If you are using hardware then you can disable the sending in these options shown in the screenshots.
