jkoseattle
Long time CW user, I had to reinstall Windows and start over with everything, and finally I've gotten CW up and running pretty much. I opened an old project consisting of two piano tracks (different pianos). The weird thing is that whichever track is highlighted is slightly louder than the other. During playback I can click back and forth between the two tracks and merely moving to a track changes its output. I don't remember ever experiencing that before. I turned off effects for the tracks and it still does it. I rebooted and now it's subtler but still present. What's happening?
JnTuneTech
Can't tell from your initial description, but perhaps input echo on a MIDI track might do that. -If those are MIDI tracks - Check and make sure you have only the MIDI routings you want selected in the tracks, as they change when you move the project to a new system most of the time. Also, maybe the input echo follows track selection preference was off on the old system? Edited June 24, 2023 by JnTuneTech
reginaldStjohn
My guess would be you have input echo follows selection of track so when you select one it is echoing something being played through it.
