Love the way the banjo is following the drum snare. Really nice song. There is a 1 note in the harmonica that is piercing my ear on my end. Its not a big deal by any stretch of the imagination, but if you wanted to polish this further at a later time,  I thought you may appreciate the heads up. Single band eq with a narrow Q setting should do the trick.

Anyway. Really liked the tune and the feel. Good work!

Great Job on this ! I Really like the brushes and the relaxed way you sang it. The banjo was Real nice and I like the way you brought some in on the left side for the lead fills. Banjo is sure an under appreciated instrument .    Enjoyed it

I listened to yours first then Townes version. They're both great. Your version is better musically imho, a different kind of production that respects the original but adds valuable originality????

That opening banjo hooked me right away. Really like the laid back vocal style. The instruments all fit together so well too.
Great job!

This is a great take on this song. I'm digging the bajo/drum thing here. The vocal is wonderful and sits perfectly in the mix in a laid back JJ Cale kind of way. Nice reverb throughout. Pure sugar!
