Alex Cordero Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 (edited) Is there a way to get another decimal place in the tempo? I am only getting xxx.x and need xxx.xx. If I add the extra number, the tempo is rounded up. For example, 115.25 becomes 115.3. I'm downloading stems for backing tracks, and I need to match the tempo from song. Thanks Edited June 4, 2023 by Alex Cordero
David Baay Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 (edited) Cakewalk has always supported .01 bpm precision and I don't recall ever hearing of an issue getting that. Where are you entering the tempo? Edited June 5, 2023 by David Baay
msmcleod Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 IIRC, the edit box controls will truncate the display of fractions by showing it as a rounded value if there's not enough room to show it fully (i.e. you've reduced the width somehow). I came across this phenomenon when dealing with the stretch % in the clip inspector. However, even if the display is showing as rounded, the underlying value is actually as you've entered it.

Larioso Posted June 10, 2023 Posted June 10, 2023 Look in Tempo view and you see two decimals. So edit there, even if just one tempo entire project.
