Pillis
There is a buzzing sound that i can hear during quiet parts of my song, and i cant seem to identify it, if you turn it up loudly, you can clearly hear it at the beginning. any ideas?
reginaldStjohn
It is either something recorded on one of your tracks, or a build up of noise from all of them, or something that is in your playback system. This could be hum from a ground loop, noisy audio interface, noise from a guitar amp or amp sim. You would have to experiment to see where it is coming from. You could use a noise gate on the tracks to cut off the hum when the tracks are not playing. You could cut up the clips to delete the areas where no audio is playing. You could try to use a noise reduction plugin like Izotope RX to reduce the noise, find the frequency(s) and try to notch filter them out etc.

Osea Codega
I do not know exactly what kind of noise do you hear. Anyway I had similar issue recently on my recordings while mixing. There was an instantaneous little high-frequency noise near envelope changes. It seems it happens when more envelopes changes there are on the same point. I guess I solved it by adjusting sampling rate on audio card. Edited June 3, 2023 by Osea Codega
Promidi
Does this buzzing sound occur even if nothing is being played?
