With the last update it happens often that copy and paste doesn't work . The turnaround is to close the project and coming back.

The last update was over 6 months ago and I have probably done a lot of copy and pastes in the that time period with out issues. 

Possibly a few details of exactly when this is not working would help clarify your issue. 

Saying that restarting Cakewalk fixes the issue points at something you are doing is different than normal.

I know I said it before somewhere but I think there are too many shortcuts enabled by default. I find it far to easy to accidentally hit one of them. Possibly not even realizing it.

(Still I'm too lazy to go thru and disconnect the ones I don't want.)
