Nick Blanc
Again a bit scary to play live, but I was smart in choosing a scale where I could just play the black notes and I would be mostly fine ?. The TD-3 is very underrated imo, so here it, front and center. I got a bit lucky with the Microfreak (which plays that dub stab), that the patch had some filter modulation so every hit is different. That saved me a lot of filter tweaking. The 2600 is growing on me more and more, but it's still not the easiest to get a grip on. The opera singer is from Fluffy Audio Simple Opera Singer, $49 when not on sale (I think I got it for $39). Sounds awesome as a layer! I tried to keep the beat very minimal and soft so the synths took the leading role. I think it worked pretty well. Perhaps a bit too much reverb. And I should have low cut the Microfreak. Lessons learned.
