I agree this is a crazy deal, but with all that hyperbole it’s probably worth mentioning this is very much a one trick pony.

I have tried the demos for both Abyss and Novum.

I'll pass on Abyss, but I'm still waiting for a great deal on Novum... It's a one-trick pony as well (mostly granular pads), but a very special trick indeed!

No, they are quite different. Try the demos...

Abyss is a synth. It appears to be based on FM.

Novum is a sampler with a granular synthesis engine.

One trick pony, really?  Mind blowing pads, dozens of really new noise floors, leads if you want. And I have the impression I never get to my destination when designing sounds, but I always find a good place. This thing is very welcome to my arsenal of synths.

Seriously, what is the one trick the pony does? This is something I really would like to hear something about as I don't understand the statement. This is way better than the glorified sample packs by NI, right?

This is a truly phenomenal synth for just $25 (I had some unused DeluxeBucks).

The only thing it's missing is a way to mark patches as 'favorite'.
