Christian Jones Posted August 5, 2019 Posted August 5, 2019 Recently I decided to sit down w/ Reaktor after disregarding it for so long, and I didn't know that you can make effects units w/ it too that you can use on a track etc like any other vst effect. I haven't checked any of them out yet but I've downloaded some well regarded third party Reaktor effects units to try later. I *never* hear of anyone using Reaktor effects outside of a synth ensemble context, though I wouldn't be surprised if some of them were more than decent. Anyone use these?
TracingArcs Posted August 5, 2019 Posted August 5, 2019 I have Reaktor sitting as an effect bus or insert on almost all my projects. There are some great reverbs, delays , and manglers. Check out the filters and delays from Dieter Zobel. Other recommendations are Boscomac http://boscomac.free.fr/ You do have to go through a lot of lightweight stuff on the user library. But it's worth trying. And the mastering effects in the standard library are good. With some users providing improved versions as well.
rsinger Posted August 5, 2019 Posted August 5, 2019 I use some for live work for ambient music. There is a delay or reverb that has a diffuse setting that I like to use with loopers, but I've replaced that with Blackhole.
rsinger Posted August 6, 2019 Posted August 6, 2019 There's an emulation of the Roland Space Echo I like that I use as well. It's in the user library.
Blogospherianman Posted August 6, 2019 Posted August 6, 2019 I’ve used it as a Vocoder using Reaktor Razor. Very cool!
