Edit>preferences

When I click APPLY , the window closes but reopens as if there is something yet undone.

Is it prompting me for more? Or is that ok, and I can CLOSE?

When you hit apply it will apply the setting changes but not close the dialog. You have  to hit "OK" to apply and close.

Hi Robert,

You can just close or click OK.  Just clicking OK without clicking on Apply works just as well.
