GTsongwriter
Hi, I understand that Waves has created a subscription plan... I'm worried that any updates will try to convince me to use that kind of plan if I upgrade my plugins. I need to decide before 14th of April 2023 if I want to update or not. It seems they won't let me choose which plugins to update. Either I update them all or none. I even have to update plugins with no license that has been installed during trials! So, it more looks like I probably should not update. I can't find anywhere, where they explain what the update is for... other than it's just an update. I can only assume the update is to bring the goal of them forcing everyone out of ownership license for the subscription based one. What do you guys and gals think? Grem
For me, my Waves plugins are working well on v13. I see no need to update. This is just my personal opinion but after the fiasco that went down, I don't think Waves will try anything shady. IOW, I don't believe Waves will try to "force" users onto a sub plan. Now with that said, if the idiot that came up with that last fiasco plan is still working there, then anything is possible and all bets are off the table! Bruno de Souza Lino
Only Waves is capable of making their users worry about a point point update.
