Scott H Posted March 30, 2023 Posted March 30, 2023 I just bought Soft String Textures for only $49. A heads up, you can only use this discount once. 1
jngnz Posted March 30, 2023 Posted March 30, 2023 I bought Mercury and it's fairly bland. Just have to steer clear from Spitfire entirely. 1

ptheisen Posted March 31, 2023 Posted March 31, 2023 If you've ever considered getting BBCSO professional, it is eligible for the 50% off and this might be the biggest discount you'll see for a long time. The 50% offer is good for another 6 1/2 hours. 2
smallstonefan Posted March 31, 2023 Posted March 31, 2023 It doesn’t appear there is an upgrade path from BBC Corr to Professional…?

jngnz Posted March 31, 2023 Posted March 31, 2023 It is also very much worth mentioning they reset the voucher so you can now use it for a 2nd time. 1
ptheisen Posted March 31, 2023 Posted March 31, 2023 Regarding the upgrade from Core to Professional, to confirm what others were implying, that was my situation, and the 50% discount resulted in the upgrade costing only $275. I couldn't resist!
jngnz Posted March 31, 2023 Posted March 31, 2023 Damn, Solstice is pretty tempting. I have no idea how I could possibly free up another 70 GB on this MacBook after CinePerc and CineStrings however... 1

If you're logged in, it shows as $550 which is the discount for having CORE. Add it to your cart and put in the FLASH50 code - it brings it down to $275 as @ptheisen states. Very tempting. 1 1

I couldn't resist! I decided I didn’t need all those extra mic positions for over a half terabyte of space. 1

Yeah, I reached the same conclusion. The extra instruments in the Pro version are not must-haves (I have them many times over in other libs), and the mic positions are ludicrously space consuming.
