I've been using cakewalk for a while and recently ran into an issue I haven't seen before and can't seem to find on the forums anywhere.
Went to record a bass part over a track I've been working on (several layers already recorded in CW) and while recording it sounds like its the perfect volume, but once recorded it's significantly quieter, and sits much lower in the mix. I don't think it's a hardware issue since everything seems normal while recording, it's only during playback that it seems to be off. I've tried this with and without fx on the track and it seems to be the same either way.
Anyone have an idea what could be causing this or an easy fix? I may be missing something here.
Current equipment is Squire P Bass -> Fender Mustang Digital Amp -> Mixer -> Boss 505 -> Behringer Interface -> Laptop -> Headphones (Monitoring from Cakewalk, not mixer or interface)
