I was opening up cakewalk after like 3 weeks since I last used it (I have it in a usb thumb drive) and opened the application, only to see an error message stating that a mfc140u.dll was misplaced or missing. So, I looked it up and found that it was an essential system file for windows. So, I kind of panicked and opened up my file explorer to see whether I had the file at all. I found out that I had it in some Microsoft office folder. I tried copying that file and pasting it into the folder called cakewalk core and rebooted the application, but this time it said that there was a content mismatch and the only way I can fix it was to reinstall the program. Is there any fix to this?
Images of errors:
Before this I had installed two pieces of VM software to get Garageband, but that was on the hard drive of my computer.
