charles kasler
I used to do it years ago but now that melodyne is destructive regional effects it makes it a lot harder. Any suggestions on the best way to do this? Thank you.
Lynn Wilson
Clone your original track, archive it, then clone another track to experiment on. If you like the results, it doesn't really matter whether it's destructive or not. as long as you keep your original track.

Using the Split tool i select the region i want Melodyne to open, open it up and correct/modify it. If all is ok, Press D to go back to track view and bounce to clip - that is the destructive part. if i am not happy with what i’ve done i simply press D to go to track view then use Cakewalk’s Undo function to back out of making the region - that is the non-destructive bit. However, it is good practice to duplicate the track just in case before using Melodyne and also, once you’re satisfied with the results, bounce the region to a clip.
