Brian Mavity Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 Greetings folks. Used to do this years ago with Audacity (yea, that long ago) I have Cakewalk and using Positive Grids Riff as an interface but I keep getting ASIO conflicts. I can't use both at the same time. Trying to use the Riff/Bias Fx2 as a standalone but I'm guessing I need to somehow open it up in Cakewalk. I do not know how to do this. Any help in the right direction? Thanks in advance
Alan Tubbs Posted March 11, 2023 Posted March 11, 2023 Don’t know what positive grid riff is but as far as drivers go, you get one asio driver only. So Cakewalk will only see its asio driver not two.
InstrEd Posted March 11, 2023 Posted March 11, 2023 ^^^^^^ Watch the above video and actually watch all of his videos 1
reginaldStjohn Posted March 11, 2023 Posted March 11, 2023 You need to select the Riff audio driver in the Cakewalk setup. The videos referenced will walk you though it.
John Vere Posted March 11, 2023 Posted March 11, 2023 I just looked this up and it’s Guitar sim software so not sure what ASIO interface you are using with it..
John Vere Posted March 12, 2023 Posted March 12, 2023 Actually what we don’t know is what @Brian Mavity is using for an interface. If it is the Real Tek on board system then ASIO would be a bad idea an WASAPI the correct driver. Hopefully he will watch the video and sort that out.
james rector Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 But it seems to lock you into one ASIO device and input / output.
