MIDI 1.0 Expression Controller LSB and MSB

Hi folks,
I have questions about MIDI LSB and MSB .
If I send Expression LSB and MSB will Cakewalk plugins automatically process it as a High-resolution Expression?
If not, how can I know if a plugin will be able to process the LSB and MSB as one higher resolution Expression command?
