Control Bar setting won't save with newly created Project Template

Hey all,

 

 I am suddenly have a rough time with the Control Bar saving the settings I want for my new Project Template.   

I set the Project  the exact way I want it and then I select, File  > Save As > C:\Cakewalk Content\Cakewalk Core\Project Templates and I save it there.  I then go back into Cakewalk and I see the new template located under the New Project Start Screen.  OK Good.  My problem is, when I go to adjust the Control Bar to show All Modules and then save it overtop of the previously save Template, it does, however, when I open the Template, the Control Bar is still as it was previously.

I don't use templates, but as for saving and restoring my preferred Control Bars, I use Workspaces. 

Do you use Workspaces?  If so, your Workspace might be restoring the Control Bar.

Thank you so much, it was a combination of workspaces and screen sets.

1 I had to change my work space to" None" and then open the project and arrange it the way i wanted.

2. I then had to select the screen set dropdown arrow and choose > Duplicate current screen set to screen set 01
