AB99 Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 I really did not think plugins could really sound like hardware, but the TDR Molot Ge changed that for me. Nice color. And easy to use. It is on sale now for about $10 here: https://www.audiodeluxe.com/products/audio-plugins/tokyo-dawn-labs-tdr-molot-ge I did not list this under deals because this also relates to some threads about limiters and comps. By the way, the TDR Kotelnikov is also amazing. Enjoy! 3
Chris-J Posted March 5, 2023 Posted March 5, 2023 Thanks for the tip! Lately I've been using the TDR VOS SlickEQ, which is a free plug in. I liked it so much I laid out a bit of cash for the TDR Slick EQ GE (Gentleman's Edition). I find it's really easy to dial in the tone I'm looking for, plus it has 5 different EQ curves and some nice, but subtle saturation settings. Cheers! 2
AB99 Posted March 5, 2023 Author Posted March 5, 2023 If you try the TDR Molot GE, please let me know what you think. For $10, it is an amazing bargain. I have the Slick as well, and I agree with you!

I think the Molot GE GUI is a lot clearer than the old freeware Molot, which is a bit too busy for its own good, IMHO. 1
Chris-J Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 Just tried out the Molot GE today, so far I’m liking it. Tried it out on a bass guitar track. For a start, I find the GUI is easier to use than the GUI on the original MOLOT. 1
