Control bar will not dock

Hi all

a few days ago i was reading

about the control bar and decided to experiment

with a few different positions/sizes

and since then it will not dock to either the top or bottom of the window

in any project.

no matter whicj project i open it remains hovering in the position

of the  last unsuccesful docking attempt.

i have to reposition/dock it every time i open Cakewalk

Very frustrating  any ideas??

Right click on any blank space on the control bar (even the small blank space between modules), then select "Dock Control Bar at Top" or "Dock Control Bar at Bottom".

Check workspaces if it resets every time you re-open.

Doesnt make any difference .

Heres something that looks strange...

the floating control bar appears as soon as the start screen appears.

thats not right is it?

I also always have a floating Control Bar as soon as Cakewalk starts.  Here's how I did it: I floated it in some of my Workspaces and those are the workspaces I use almost all of the time.  One of the floating Control Bar Workspaces is always in effect for me.

• Wait a sec.  Let me do an experiment.
  • Switch to My First Lens (which has a top-docked Control Bar).
  • Close Cakewalk.
  • Restart Cakewalk. 
  • Its docked on the top when Cakewalk starts.

Maybe your Workspace got changed or corrupted?  

Not sure if the Control Bar right-click context menu or if screensets will so something similar.
