Someone is selling Explorer 8 for $180 on KVR. I personally think all RP synths I've tried sound flat and the effects are generic, but for someone else who might feel another way it's killer value.

I have had lots of fun with Rob Papen software. Some of the synths are both great learning tools and great preset boxes. I have Explorer and think it is excellent value. Standouts are Blue, Subboombass and Predator. BIT delivers a good analogue like sound. 

However, I would not buy a la carte.
