Transposing An Audio Track

I duplicated an audio track and I want to transpose the duplicated track.  So I followed the instructions of transposing.  Select the track to transpose.  Go down two semitones. Hit okay.  It transposes okay, but does both tracks.  How do I transpose just the duplicated track?

Comes to mind:

1. Make sure you selected only the duplicate, prior to transposing.
2. Check that the clips are NOT linked .
3. Check that you didn't linked the track when duplicating (there is a check box to activate this).

  Either I didn't see the box for "not linked" or didn't know what that was for.  Works great!
