Neutron should be in any debate of best channel strips. It just gets omitted a lot because:

1) it doesn't look like or emulate any one classic channel strip

2) People get caught up in AI aspect and forget that you can use it 100% without using AI. 

 

The user interface is far more functional than using mouse to get frustrated with a bunch if round knobs.  Each individual component is damn good on it's own and despite not emulating any one product, does a good job of providing the functionality of those products minus the exact colorization ( something most emulations fall short on). With that said, it's not my favorite, but when I do use it, I find myself wondering why I don't use it more
