vboysoye
Hello! I've been using Cakewalk for 1 full year now. Whenever I interact with MIDI Event Channels (MIDI CC, Modwheel, Velocity, RPN etc.) I often crash and sometimes lose my work, Is there anything I can do? I have to keep saving the project before I edit midi event channel because It might crash anytime. Here is some information of my PC if it has something to do with them. Processor: AMD A9-9425 R5, 5 COMPUTE CORES 2C+3G 3.10 GHz RAM: 4 GB Edit: Recording MIDI Events is fine, but when I click or do anything on the panels it just crash. Jack Stoner
First thing that I see is only 4GB of RAM. That is insufficient. 8 or even 16GB is needed,
Lord Tim
Yeah, that's very lean for a DAW in 2023. That's obviously not a regular thing or the forum would be up in arms about it, so we need to track down what's happening on your system that's causing it. Probably your best course of action is to capture a crash dump and get it off to Support to see exactly what's going on.
