You actually have more activations than from Deskew (it’s either Windows or Mac or pay more for dual license). The Deskew version bundles some plugins (TH-U and other freebies) but they’re more as examples than anything. You can always install the Deskew version to get those plugins. The templates are different to integrate the PA plugins. Aside from that, feature-wise, they’re the same. 1

The winner gets, Any Plugin Alliance Plugin for $1US Adhering to PA's rules, I believe Gig Performer is not counted as a 'Plug-in'.

Great sound for one (but I do like the sound quality of the 9000 too), but the Amek has a really nice clipper and limiter built in which sounds nice for subtle breaking up of the sound, or getting really crunchy. It's just a very versatile strip that has more features and sounds great. If I had to pick one only, definitely Amek, but I'll still use the 9000J at times anyway because I have it and like it ? 1
