Well.. I like the idea of buying less plugins (not buying any isn't realistic!).. so I'm even going to leave Trackspacer, even though I was waiting for it to go sale and just use what I've already got for now.

I'm already still planning on buying Diva from u-he though... I think that's an acceptable compromise for such an awesome synth ?

Don’t sleep on Zebra if you haven’t got it yet. Such an incredible sonic canvas.

1. Have a bowl of rice with the Dale Lama.

This one will be difficult. The best I could get once was a cup of coffee with his less known cousin, the Dalai Lame:

lets all try start something today on the 1st day of the new year!

I'm guessing that most people here are pretty good at starting things already.

Finishing things.....that's the problem.

What do you call a Lama who is always late?

A "delay" lama!

I'll get me coat....

I'm surprised that you didn't meet the DL in Vegas.

I heard that he likes Tibet.

On a serious note -  this is a great read!

The Book of Joy: Lasting Happiness in a  Changing World

"In April 2015, Archbishop Tutu traveled to the Dalai Lama’s home in Dharamsala, India, to celebrate His Holiness’s eightieth birthday and to create what they hoped would be a gift for others. They looked back on their long lives to answer a single burning question: How do we find joy in the face of life’s inevitable suffering?"

I ended up grabbing Diva and Repro and love them both! Zebra was definitely tempting too.. But it didn't seem to be discounted from what they were selling it for and there was no free upgrade to Zebra3 so I thought I might hold off and pick up 3 next time around or maybe on an intro sale, or something ?

They definitely make some nice sounding synths.

Updates from everyone on how their resolutions are going,  please! ;)

I mean it's barely a couple of weeks in, but so far so good! I haven't bought any plugins yet and had already intended on buying at least Diva and have a small list of synths to grab if they come up at a great price...

But the thought of buying a few plugins still had crossed my mind a few times for some of the sales ?

I'm about €75 down on my "I'm not spending anything on things that are not on my wishlist" resolution. Buuut, about €50 of that amount could/should have been spent in 2022, I just found out late (like the Samples from Mars 2022 update). And the remaining €25 was on samples, which has a generic place on my budget. So, pretty good. Also, I got a hardware Korg MS-20 mini secondhand, so that saved me around €165 off the retail price. Right now, there is absolutely nothing software wise that would tempt me. Even if it is on my wishlist.
