Blackwater
Hi everyone, I am new to bandlab / recording with any DAW. I recently purchased a Blackstar HT 20 MKII amp, which has a USB A to B output that allows me to plug directly into my USB port on the computer. When I plug it in and try to record a song, I change the Source to Line (HT Series), which is the USB cable/amplifier. The recording sounds perfect - I do not have any complaints whatsoever about that. However, when I go to playback the recording, it plays it through the amp and sounds all distorted/terrible. So what I have been doing is essentially every time I want to playback the audio I have recorded, I am disconnecting the USB cable, which is a major pain. Surely there is a much better way to have even the computer speaks as the Output? Any help here would be greatly appreciated! It makes it quite difficult to add a 2nd track/guitar on top of it as it can be hard to follow along. Thank you, Shane
Byron Dickens
Get a proper audio interface and either mic the amp or use the dedicated line out. Edited December 28, 2022 by Byron Dickens
