The Eternal Optimist
A song about an Assassin. Looking for feedback
mark skinner
One thing I noticed is how "clean" the mix got when you dropped out the distorted guitar. The same thing happened at the outro. I think if I were mixing this , I'd try a little cleaner FX on the guitar , ease it down some and get it away from the center of the mix a little. Cool song .. mark

Cool song .. mark Thanks for the feedback! That's a great point - the transition is quite stark between the intro, breaks and outro with that clean to distorted change. I'll have a look at that ?
Bajan Blue
I think Mark's comments are spot on - with a bit of a remix you've got a good track here cool Nigel
Dream Art Scientists
I'm no mixing expert by any stretch, so take this with a grain of salt. Yes the mix could probably be made to sound somewhat cleaner. The advice given above is probably going to help. You could also maybe try bringing the distortion guitar level down more and see how that sits in the mix.
