JoeGBradford Posted December 16, 2022 Posted December 16, 2022 As part of my moving across to a new PC I'm trying to uninstall my Waves licences - Waves Central wanted an update so clicked but after downloading nothing happened. Tried downloading directly from their website and again the downloaded exe file did nothing. Anyone had the same issues?
abacab Posted December 16, 2022 Posted December 16, 2022 Waves Central 13.4.1 launching & running OK here on Windows 10 22H2. Never had to run an installer to update Waves Central, it has always auto-updated. Any chance that you are running a firewall or security software that may be blocking the updater?

Never had that problem with Waves before so thought it may be something at their end - I'll remember not to post until I've rebooted next time. ? Just been going through all the different software licensing / deactivation / activation stuff - this is why I have put off upgrading for so long! 1
Eusebio Rufian-Zilbermann Posted December 17, 2022 Posted December 17, 2022 iLok dongles don't generally get much "love" but, when it came to moving to a new machine I found it quite helpful not having to de-activate so that I could re-activate. Of course, in terms of licensing, moving Hornet plugins to the new machine was the best ? 2
