Keith Wilby
I've had this tune hanging around for ages but have just put some reasonable lyrics to it (based on the shenanigans of the likes of UK MP Matt Hancock who broke his own COVID laws and then refused to apologise and/or resign as Health Secretary). I think the lead guitar gets a bit "muddy" at 2:45. Comments invited ? https://www.bandlab.com/post/e3d4d15e-877c-ed11-9f5e-000d3a980004
mark skinner
Great song Keith. I really like the different directions it travels. I didn't have Any problem with the lead guitar at 2:45 , in fact I thought it sounded Fantastic! I did have a problem with a muddy guitar at 2:20 leading up to the louder lead break. I also think your vocal needs to come up in the verses and the bridge when you're singing in a lower register. The parts with the harmony's and double tracked phrases sound good. The song has a wonderful feel to it , and gives me a little bit of a "Yes" vibe. I think you sat on this one the perfect amount of time . Loved it .. mark Edited December 15, 2022 by mark skinner
AndyB01
I like the guitar sound (a little lost at around 2:20 as Mark commented) - vocals definitely need to come up in the lower registers. Loved the sentiment: UK politicians - I can relate - don't you just love 'em. Overall great track Andy
Keith Wilby
Many thanks guys. I'm starting to wonder if the song needs the quiet solo now; I suppose I'd need to work out some better notes to play though ("I'm playing all the *right* notes ..." ?)
