Orchestral Colours is only $29 USD (normally  $99USD). I used the strings  from that library on my cover of "I Am the Walrus" last year -- I simply played it live on my MIDI controller with no editing and was very happy with the sound. For $29, I'd call it a no-brainer.  It does require the full version of KONTAKT.

Anyone have the Pedal Steel?  Is it as playable as they make it seem?

 

(Btw, the Mountain Dulcimer is AMAZING.  If you're pretty good on keys, you can get some very convincing sounds out of it. Of course, I'm from and live in the southeastern US so I might have more interest in it than most.)

 

EDIT:  I'm a dolt.  Mountain Dulcimer is by Embertone...not ISW.  It's stil a good instrument.

I've seen it down to $80-ish I think, but that may have been by stacking a coupon or something.

I've got my 10 percent off coupon for the newsletter I can stack. I'll be keeping an eye on it. Last year there was a sale around the 4th of July and at the end of the year. I'll wait.
