OK, after watching this I am disappointed.  I watched and watched all 65 minutes waiting for something modern.

There was no auto tune, no loops, no lip sync.

It was all too real real for me.

Yeah I watched the whole thing too. Minnie Riperton was fantastic.  Unbelievable voice. I always  loved that song.

I thought it was a good performance. Chaca Kahn was getting with it. Rufus playing well too. The "sound fx" they were doing in the mics was very muddled. They could have backed of the mics and done a lot better.

I still think when she left Rufus she went downhill. Her solo records never really did reach the same level of groove with session musicians.

Our band learned this, but they had problems counting it out, because the bass is on the off-beats.  ?
