Stephen Ajewole Posted January 6, 2019 Posted January 6, 2019 For some reason, when I add a midi track it won't appear in the sequencer view but only in the mixer. It's kinda weird, do u guys know how to solve this? Thanks!
Gswitz Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 Idk what sequencer view is. Console view? Have you hidden the midi tracks in the console view? H should show hidden tracks.
Kamikaze Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 Try hitting F, for fit to screen. If that doesn't work H, and see if its hidden for some reason.
chuckebaby Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 I could be wrong but are you trying to view the clip in the step sequencer ? If so... Right click on the midi click and choose "convert to step sequencer clip"

H should show hidden tracks. I mean the view in which you usually see your midi tracks. I pressed h and nothing has changed unfortunately
John Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 The keybinding for the PRV {Piano Roll View) is Alt-3. If you have MIDI data on a track you can double click on it to get to the PRV.

I have reported it but I only received a workaround: Try file/New/Blank Project. It seems a problem related to project templates, even the default ones. A shame ?

Doing further testing I have noticed that it happens 60-70% of times if you have hidden the screenset module. If you show the screenset module and load any of the screens, the tracks are shown. Nevertheless, this is only a workaround and that is a bug that must be fixed.
