GTsongwriter
Using this method in Cakewalk by Bandlab is actually much more flexible than using Waves Audio Torque alone! Plus, if you already have both plug-ins .. it saves you money! Two plug-ins: 1) Hornet Total EQ 2) Waves Audio Vocal Bender * Use Hornet Total EQ to isolate the sound you want to change the tone of... then use Waves Audio Vocal Bender to change the tone of the sound. You can even get more creative with 2 Hornet Total EQs... -> Create a new stereo bus... I'll call it bus C for now. -> Go to the track you want to adjust the sound of... like a drum track... Send a copy of your track audio to bus C ............. [SENDS +] it to bus C -> add your Hornet Total EQ there... double click to create a circle on screen, click on the L circle to help isolate the frequency you want to isolate... use the stereo horizontal slider to adjust stereo field to become more narrow. (You should make your adjustments while playing the sound or audio) -> ctrl + left click and hold on to the Hornet Total EQ and drag it to the original track plugin area to make a exact copy there. Once you have the copy there. double click to open it and click on the circle M to mute the isolated sound on that track. -> Go back to Bus C and put Waves Audio Vocal Bender right after Hornet Total EQ. ..... click on FINE, then adjust the tone of how you like your sound to sound like. You can go as far as automating the Pitch for some really cool effects! bitflipper
I've not heard of any issues with Hornet plugins in particular, so we'll need more info to help you out. Let's start by clarifying "crash". A screenshot might clear it up.
