greg54
I'm in a new project and am recording guitar. I have a guitar part that is partially recorded. To finish that part, I put the line on the last second of the recorded track so I can have a jump start when I record the last section of it. But after I record the new part, where I started on the old recorded clip it's faded and there is no sound. How do I fix this problem? greg54
I think I know what the problem is. I'll see if Sound on Sound is enabled. I'll report back later.

57Gregy
From one Greg to another, read up on punch-in recording. You can start playback from anywhere and play along with it, then it will begin recording at the time you set it to start recording; no need to place the Now Time where you want to begin the new take.
lapasoa
The super easy way is to record the new guitar part in a new track. This is my way. Speaking of guitar, you record each verse, chorus, bridge, solo, each in a different track.
