Spice3d
I hate Korgs installer/updater app. It never remembers correctly what I've already installed.
jim137
Why isn't there an install all or update all button. It is still one of the most tedious installs even if it is better than it used to be.
rasure
Thanks for heads up ? Yeah the app they use is useless, shows thing not installed when they are, never know when something is updated unless I go look.
jim137
I checked each standalone to make sure it upgraded.

Reid Rosefelt
Are there any noticeable changes? Or is this just bug fixes?

Nothing noticeable here yet on Windows. I have been launching them as they are installed, so at least they aren't broken! Waiting for the updated release notes to see what changes and fixes were made. However, I did observe that all synths are up to a full "point" release now, e.g., Triton 1.3.7 > Triton 1.4.0, for whatever that's worth. simon
I've updated the ARP to v1.5 but software pass still insists I have v1.3 installed room for improvement from Korg I think

Weird, but this time I left Software Pass open while I performed the updates. Then I refreshed Software Pass, and now it shows everything up to date!

I'm always nervous running Software Pass more than necessary - still remember this 2 1/2 years later. they have changed the install routine since then but once bitten etc.

Edit: the info below is wrong/old. See subsequent posts - Korg has not yet updated the release notes. Here's the release notes from M1 & Wavestation: Quote July 21, 2022 22:22 Version 2.3.3 [PC] After updating to version 2.3.2, Cakewalk by BandLab would not open the project properly and initialize the synthesizer. This has been fixed. Here's MS-20, Polysix, MDE-X, & Mono/Poly Quote Version 2.3.1 [PC/Mac] After installing the version 2.3.0 plug-ins, opening a project that was using earlier versions of the plug-ins would cause the project to not recall properly or to crash. This issue was observed in Cubase, Nuendo and Studio One 5. This problem has been fixed. [PC/Mac] Fixed a problem in which vst patch files created with vst2 plug-ins in Cubase could not be loaded correctly in vst3. [PC/Mac] Fixed a problem with Digital Performer 11 where it would fail to validate vst3 plug-ins. and Legacy Cell Quote Changes in Version 1.7.0 [Mac] VST3 format support. [Mac] Native Apple Silicon support. Don't own the rest... If something ever goes sideways with software (and it eventually will), I can easily restore my system in about 40 minutes from the last image taken.

Lol, you're right! That's the info linked in the installer(s) I just downloaded and installed. Looks like the release notes are way out of date on all of them (that I had access to)! The current DLLs are dated 11/8/22. Ran each and they all report that their version is 2.4.0 Edited November 22, 2022 by TheSteven
