Michael Richard
Hi, Looking at getting 2 x 27" monitors on Black Friday. For the CbB interface, is it better to go for 1080p or1440p? Bonus questions: - anyone using (dual) curved monitors? If so, thoughts? - I don't do video editing (nor gaming). Is it worth getting a refresh rate higher than 60Hz. If so, what refresh rate would you recommend? - any specific monitors recommendation? Thanks in advance. Michael
0 Lord Tim
I find 1440 is my sweet spot for 27". I'm currently running a 5120 x 1440 curved monitor and it's great, and the resolution complements the 17" 1080p panels on the sides well.
0 Bill Phillips
I'm using a 3840x1600 37" curved display and really like it. I chose 37" because that's what fits between my monitors. Now that I have it, I'm thinking it's a good fit for me. I usually have my Cakewalk window at about 2/3 of the screen horizontally and nearly 100% vertically leaving about 1/3 of horizontal space for plugin popups and other apps. I'd probably need to move my head around to use all the space on a larger display.
