How do I emulate this guitar sound in Cakewalk?

I am trying to get the same or close guitar sound in the attached mp3 using Cakewalk. I am a complete noob to Cakewalk and sound production. What effect can do this? To be clear I want to use a real guitar to record using this effect (the sustain).  This comes from the song 99 Balloons covered by Goldfinger.

The bundled TH3 should get you pretty close, although it does depend on the guitar you're using.  The "POP lover, Main Rhythm" or "POP lover, Boost" patches might be a good start - try messing with the EQ on the amps to get the tone you want.
