Mark Morgon-Shaw
Please let me know if this already exists but I would like to be able to quickly re-solo a selection immediately after un-soloing it I feel this would e very helpful when you're trying to A/B things in a project and make fine adjustements..the ability to flick back and forth between two states The workflow would be: 1. Make the selection of solo'd tracks as per normal 2. Unsolo them all in the contol bar in the standard way 3 , But then have the ability to immediately re-solo that previous selection using the same button and perhaps a modifier key Voila...... Thank you Edited October 29, 2022 by Mark Morgon-Shaw
Lord Tim
You *can*.... but it's kind of not that elegant. Solo all of the tracks you want to hear as your "A" and then select all of the tracks in the project, and then CTRL+Click one of the Solo buttons. That'll invert the selection for your "B" and then do the same to get back to "A" again. Works well, but if you click away to anywhere or change selections, you have to remember to re-select everything again to make this all work. 1

msmcleod
The easiest way to do this is using exclusive solo: If you need more than one track for your "reference", you can group the solo buttons of the reference tracks.
