Sugar Bytes releases a promising granular effect with Graindad.A maximum of 64 audio fragments (grains) can be generated. The filter types are Lowpass, Highpass, Bandpass and Band Reject.There are also the effects Reverb, Spring Reverb, Shimmer, Delay, Flanger and Chorus. The plugin operates with two modulation engines. One consists of conventional modulators such as Step Sequencer, LFO and envelope. The other is called a harvester, which has twelve parameters ready for machining. You can morph between the two engines. With the modmix control and the crossfade effects, Harvester invites you to extensive modulation combinations. Effects such as freeze, stutter, glitch and texturize can be implemented quickly. A multiband transient detector is on board. In addition, modulation can be enlivened with automations and random functions.

Graindad can be purchased either as a standalone application or as a plug-in in VST2, VST3, AU and AAX formats at a price of 99 euros
