***** code FORUM, go for the stacked discount for 2 or more. Inflator and Claro for $53. Insane.

Yeah, that is a pretty sweet deal, considering I don't have either.

To save everyone a click, here's how the stacked discount works:

Quote

sonnox2 - Receive a 20% discount when ordering 2 Oxford plugins
sonnox3 - Receive a 25% discount when ordering 3 Oxford plugins
sonnox4 - Receive a 30% discount when ordering 4 Oxford plugins
sonnox5 - Receive a 35% discount when ordering 5 Oxford plugins
sonnox6 - Receive a 40% discount when ordering 6 or more Oxford plugins

Too bad they don't have any $10 plugins for sale. :)

At JRR, the real discount rates are even better:

sonnox2 - Receive a 28% discount when ordering 2 Oxford plugins
sonnox3 - Receive a 32,5% discount when ordering 3 Oxford plugins
sonnox4 - Receive a 37% discount when ordering 4 Oxford plugins
sonnox5 - Receive a 41,5% discount when ordering 5 Oxford plugins
sonnox6 - Receive a 46% discount when ordering 6 or more Oxford plugins

Claro is great. Three killer features:

— auto-gain is precise and is fantastic for tone shaping

— frequency masking view is helpful

— the limited mode is awesome, curves are great; but you will be fighting the urge to switch to visual EQ :)

I paid around 80 for it.

I wonder how Claro compares to iZotope Neutron (which I have).

Favourably. Well, Neutron as a whole has a lot more features, but I'd pick Claro over the Neutron EQ any day. The masking feature is just much easier to use. You can select a reference track and see every other track's frequency clashes at the same time. Also, like someone already said, the auto gain feature is the best of any EQ I'm aware of.
