Why Can't I Export MP3 to 24Bit/48KHz

Why is that spec an impossibility? Is there any patch I need to install?

Also, in the big Export Menu I can't figure out how to make the File Name get captured. I KNOW from using Audacity on every file that the Artists and Song tags are done correctly. So, why doesn't it tr'fer over to BLab? FRUSTRATING!??

MP3's use compression techniques that make specifying them different then plain wave files. Take a look at what an audio editor (GoldWave) offers. You can specify the sample rate and the bit rates but not the bit depth. The bit depth is determined by the quality of the bit rate, Higher bit rate is better but takes more space and bandwidth.
