Glenn Stanton Posted October 17, 2022 Posted October 17, 2022 (edited) cancelling guitar... the reviews are in: The Friendly Angle: "George Harrison is turning over in his grave" The National Conant: "Seriously, you need help, but it is kinda cool" The NY Times: "We're going to hunt you down and end you" Mom: "What the f*** is wrong with you! i didn't raise you like this!" really it started by playing around with the LABS voices thingie and it sounded neat as a harmony part... and it just went from there. Jesse Screed Posted October 28, 2022 Posted October 28, 2022 I really like this. Maybe George would like it too? He did like to step outside the box. I really like this! 1
bjornpdx Posted October 29, 2022 Posted October 29, 2022 Glenn, I like covers where the artist puts his own take on the song and I really like what you've done with this one. The voc could be raised a bit maybe. Or not. Anyway, great work! -Bjorn 1
Wookiee Posted October 29, 2022 Posted October 29, 2022 Anyone brave enough to cover this deserve some encouragement, it appears to work. 1
steve@baselines.com Posted October 29, 2022 Posted October 29, 2022 Really like this. I didn't think I would because I usually try to stay close to the original, but you did a fantastic interpretation of this song. It has enough of the original vibe while being totally different. That's not easy to do. 1
Byron Dickens Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 Very interesting original arrangement. 1
