While using Cakewalk by Bandlab, a popup window appeared in the bottom right hand corner of my screen just like it always does when there's an update. So, just like always, I clicked on it and it downloaded. Once it downloaded the update another popup window asked to install the update. So I clicked on it and it appeared as though it was installing, but once it finished, the program closed by itself and I haven't been able to reopen it . Each time I tried opening it I get a pop up window that says (Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.) .... So, I phoned friend who is computer specialist and he said it might be because the short cut on my desktop is not the same as the update. He said I should try opening the program from the start menu and I might have to delete the shortcut on the desktop and create a new one, but when I tried opening the program from the start menu it gives me the same message as before. Anyone have any idea what's going on? If so, can you please email me @ kajunjeaux@yahoo.com. I certainly would appreciate it. Thanks in advance
